The science is clear that the problem of bovine TB is due to factory farming methods and intensification and excessive cattle movements. Some misguided people find it easier to blame a badger than their own failings. |

Save the badgers and listen to the science behind this campaign. Culling badgers is driving them to the point of endangered species. |

Culling is not the answer.. They are already in danger from habitat destruction and baiting - how can you actively promote killing more of a dwindling community? Please please please find another way to protect the cattle. I read that the badger culling in Ireland did not successfully decrease the TB incidence in cattle anyway - so this really would be for no benefit to anyone.. |

I've worked with cattle for many years; bovine TB is more prolific nowadays than after the war. Investigations should go into the intense yarding of cattle where they are in close proximity causing an unhealthy environment as with humans at the beginning of the 20th Century in slums. |

I am totally against the cull and do not believe that the badgers are responsible for the spread of TB in cattle and have listened to numerous comparisons with Northern Europe. |

We feel that Badgers get the stick for being carriers of TB, but more reliable testing methods should be done before the blame can be apportioned them, mean time, they need as much protection as can be given. |
